Guide: how to follow Pope Leo XIV's journey on Vatican Report
Vatican Media live, a 77-event schedule in Rome and local time, map, stops and Church in numbers: the trip page explained

From 6 to 17 November Pope Leo XIV is on an apostolic journey to Uruguay, Argentina and Peru. Vatican Report has a dedicated page for the trip: vaticanreport.com/viaggio-papa-america-latina-2026. Here is what it contains and how to use it.
## At the top: countdown and two clocks
At the top of the page you will find a countdown, Rome time and local time, and the «The Pope now» box showing the current moment of the programme.
## Vatican Media live stream and updates
The «Vatican Media live» box embeds the official Vatican Media Live YouTube channel, so you can watch the celebrations from the page. Below it, «Live updates» collects our updates from the trip: the «Refresh» button loads new ones, «Show earlier» the older ones.
## The tabs
Below the stream are the tabs: The Pope now, Schedule, Map, Countries, Stops, Church in numbers and News. The day selector (D1–D12 or «All days») filters content by day.
## Schedule: 77 events
The official programme has 77 events: 16 in Uruguay, 22 in Argentina, 37 in Peru. Each shows local time and Rome time, with country filters and a button to add it to your calendar (.ics file or Google Calendar). «Whole trip to calendar» imports the entire programme at once.
## Map, countries and stops
The route map shows the cities of the trip: tap a city to filter the schedule. «Countries and numbers» presents the three countries with «need to know» cards. «Stops» explains for each city why the Pope is going there, with history, saints and sources.
## The local Church in numbers
This tab reports data on the Church in the three countries compiled by Prof. Fernando Altemeyer Junior (PUC-SP) and published by Vatican News in August 2026.
## News, flashes and briefs
«Latest news from the trip» collects our articles. To stay up to date there are also flashes, the daily brief (/brief) and the live blog (/ultimo-live-blog).
