John Prevost in St Peter’s Square: New Lenox pilgrimage ends

Pope Leo XIV’s brother, John Joseph Prevost, completed this morning, 28 October, in St Peter’s Square at the General Audience a pilgrimage in Italy in the footsteps of St Augustine with the faithful of St Jude church in New Lenox, Illinois, guided by their pastor.

Vatican News (French) reports it with a photo from the colonnade. New Lenox, southwest of Chicago, is the Augustinian community where John Prevost worships; then-Cardinal Robert Prevost made his last visit to the United States there in August 2024, before his election.
