The Holy See and Honduras sign a 25-article Agreement

The Holy See and Honduras sign a 25-article Agreement. This morning, in the Hall of Treaties of the Apostolic Palace, it was signed by Pietro Parolin and President Nasry Asfura. The Agreement protects the Church's legal personality and religious freedom, recognises the Church's right to freely appoint its ministers, and guarantees conscientious objection and the inviolability of the sacramental seal. It will enter into force on the exchange of the instruments of ratification.
