REPORT | Pope Leo XIV's Latin America trip (November 6-17): preparations continue. In Uruguay, Daniel Sturla, Cardinal Archbishop of Montevideo, said the organisation of the November 6-8 visit is continuing, but the Pope's health comes first: "estamos con una gran expectativa de que el Papa venga, pero ante todo en estos días rezando por la salud del Papa" ("we have great expectations that the Pope will come, but above all in these days we are praying for his health", our translation). He added: "Estamos abiertos, por supuesto, si se realiza ahora la visita, a tener que aligerar algo la agenda del Santo Padre" ("We are open, of course, if the visit happens now, to having to lighten the Holy Father's schedule somewhat", our translation), ADN Celam reports. The Church in Uruguay has announced that free, named tickets for the three main events will be available from Friday, October 23 at 11 a.m. In Argentina, according to EFE as carried by Infobae, the bishops' conference is coordinating "más de 25.000 voluntarios inscriptos" ("more than 25,000 registered volunteers", our translation). No official confirmation yet from the Holy See. #LeoXIV #Vatican #Uruguay #Argentina
